you forgot googletalk and skype!!

i use gtalk, only because all my friends use it and it intergrates with gmail and it's simple and it has high quality audio

i used to be a trillian user, but then i found out all the people with aim can't see the pretty cats and toilets that i can see

GAIM, mostly because it is the only decent one for linux (and I am too lazy to try Kopete at the moment).

I used to use Trillian when I ran Windows
