| Newb Techie | Seeing how I would like to introduce myself, here it goes. I am a blogger, and tech obsessor that has lived in Silicon Valley his whole life. I read alot of blogs, and I want to get into some forum communities and contribute. My name is pronounced "My - Kah" for all of you name butcherers out there. No Nerd Bio Is Complete Without Computer Stats: My hand-built computer was made with love, although it is painfully outdated… Processor Model: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Pentium 4 (3.20 GHz overclocked to 3.35) L2 On board cache: 512kb ECC synchronous, ATC, 8-Way set, 64 byte line size, 2 lines per sector Mobo: ASUSTeK Computer Inc 82875P,E7210 Memory Controller Hub Front Side Bus Speed: 4x 200Mhz (800 MHz data rate) Total Memory: 1GB DDR-SDRAM Memory Bus Speed: 2x 200MHz (400MHz data rate) Video Card: ALL-IN-WONDER 9800 SERIES Now..some questions for you guys.. Who is the coolest person on this forum? Why so? PC or Mac? Windoze or Linux or OS whatcha ma call it (10)? Lastly..if you could have any computer in the world, what computer would it have? Specs? |

| ![]() Lots of cool people on here, just take your pick. Macs make good doorstops. XP. If and when I build my next rig (or decide to guy and resurrect this one) I may go with Vista... but it will be a long while as Vista was launched before it was more than half finished. A computer I build with my own hands, parts subject to change. I am, however, an AMD loyalist and a recent ATI convert. |
