MGI video wave 3.5

I own a sony digital camera. I never really install the other software which came with the camera. I have had the camera for 2 yrs now. Its a DSC P50 cybershot. The software came with is called MGI video wave 3.5. I have no clue how to use it the help section does not offer much I am going to be doing some video editing. Does anyone know where I can get some hands on info. I am completely knew to this kind of tech stuff.
