Hi, I'm a super newbie, and have been browsing the forums for quite some time now. but i have joined to ask the opinions of the higher up people

I will probably be building a new computer in the near future, and wonder if I should get a 8800GTX or wait for the nvidia to come out with the 9800 to play Dx10 games? mainly Crysis cause it looks so cool.

welcome... get the 9 series.. which is rumored to have double the power of 2x 8800gtx's

Anyway, glad to have you here, finally posting. The 8800GTX will easily play Crysis, but if you want the latest and greatest, you should wait for the flagship 9 series, such as the 9800GTX.
