Default Hi! It's all about me.

Hi, although I got some posts, I'm still new here.

I'm PC Power User with particular programming knowledge.
For the last 6 years I was targeting on Windows platform utilization. Short time ago I changed my mind because of copyright limitations and faced the Open Source and GPL. My ideology is freedom of software usage for all.
This time I toss between proprietary quality, abilityand popularity and open source freedom of usage for my own programs creation, but generally I dream to be opensource programmer, but forced by society to be proprietary programmer in the future.

Why do I like opensource so much?

The opensource gives me a chance to use a lot of content I need without reporting anything to its creator. I may not care about the modules I have to use for my programs, I have no risk breaking patents or getting to pay for its usage.

Now only the society may choose the way I'll go, and you can help me in it!

Hey ninthBit

It's great you're for open source. I'm looking into getting into open source myself. Since I don't game, open source would be perfect. If all goes well, down with Windows.
