I just registered today.

Hi everybody.

I am far from the virgin techie that the forum ranking suggests. I've been the webmaster for NEIBenefits for several years, as well as software trainer, helpdesk guy, swapper-outer of bad hard drives, etc., etc.

I'm sure many others here have done the jack-of-all-trades-hey-this-wasn't-what-the-help-wanted-ad-said-I'd-be-doing thing.

Have just been browsing, but this forum seems really cool thus far.

I'm new here too and have already had 1 problem solved.
Hope I can repay the favour soon.

Apparently when you have made about 20 posts or so then you can change your status yourself to whatever you want through the edit profile screen.

Anyway hope you stay

what is the ranking system, like how many posts for each ranking?
