|  Hi Hi ~ I am here looking to solve a problem here at work, but in the process jumping into several forums and learning more than I had intended to. I'm a cross-platform user, mac at work, pc at home. It's always been that way and been that way by choice - I like to know more. Personal notes, I run and cycle, now about 150 miles a week on the bike and around 25 miles per week running. I much prefer it to hammering a keyboard. The problem? We're phasing out Magneto Opticals as a primary storage vehicle for the millions of digital images we've created over the past ten years. DVD is the media that's been chosen and well, the tech services department spent six months determining that my sony drive will in fact burn a DVD and said "dominin domini it works". Well it doesn't work so here I am. Cheers! |
