VHD Attach Offers Better VHD Support In Windows 7

Microsoft has added native vhd (that’s virtual hard disk) support in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. This basically allows a user to create a virtual hard disk that uses space of one of the physical hard disks but displays with its own drive letter. One interesting application for VHDs in Windows 7 is the ability to use them to store a different operating system which can then be booted into as if it were normally installed on a separate partition.
