It’s already the 14th time that I’m writing this article. Each Wednesday I look back at the software that has been updated in the last seven days and create a list of the software that has been updated and mentioned before here at Ghacks. The list usually contains between 20 to 40 applications that have been updated.

Cobian Backup 9.1.1.169 Beta - fantastic backup program that supports ftp backups.
CPU-Z 1.44.2 - displays every detail about the CPU.
FeedDemon 2.6.1.1 Beta 2 - offline RSS reader.
FileZilla 3.0.9-rc1 - great ftp client.
Freenet 0.7 RC1 - fighting censorship and privacy invasion.
fsLock 2.0 Build 814 Beta 3 - protect files and processes on your system.
IE7pro 2.2.0.1 - if there is one must have add-on for Internet Explorer 7 it is this one.
ImgBurn 2.4.1.0 - a good CD and DVD burning program.
Joost 1.1.4 Beta - watch prerecorded shows and even live TV online.
K-Lite Codec Pack Update 20080331 - this is one of the best codec packages out there. I prefer to install individual codecs though.
MediaCoder 0.6.1.4090 - universal audio and video batch transcoder.
MediaInfo 0.7.6.2 - displays information about the video and audio codec of a multimedia file.
Miro 1.2.2 - great video player and downloader.
Nokia PC Suite 6.86.8.4 - the official Nokia software to manage your phone on the computer.
ooVoo 1.5.1.97 Beta - multi-user video chat.
Opera 9.50 Build 9864 Beta - another Beta version of this excellent browser.
Shup 0.23 - take screenshots and automatically upload them to the Internet.
Soundbase 2008.3.28 - play, manage and tag music.
UpdateStar 2.0.464 Beta - scans your system for software and displays information about updates that are available.
Vista Codec Package 4.6.3 Beta 1 - another popular codec package for Windows Vista.
vLite 1.1.6 Beta 2 - build your own Windows Vista installation DVD and remove / add components.
Winamp 5 Full 5.531 Build 1938 - Winamp is still one of the most popular software music players.
Wireshark 1.00 - a network protocol analyzer.
