There's a number of screen capturing utils that are quite elegant, and free. including addons for firefox/etc. I'd just use one of them. prnt scrn is ok, but rather brutal and clumsy imo. I like snagit for windows myself. Screen Capture | Snagit | Screen capture software by TechSmith or Gscrot/shutter or Ksnapshot for *nix

I've tried Snagit and all I got were black screens, I might have been doing something wrong thou.
