Bid-O-Matic is a so called sniper tool for eBay. Sniper tools take advantage of the speed that computers use to perform tasks in contrast to humans. It takes only a fracture of a second to bid on an eBay auction for a computer while a human would need between 5-15 seconds to do the same.
Sniper tools are mainly used to send a last bet for an item to eBay making it impossible for humans to react in time against the new bid. Bid-O-Matic has some nice features that make it worthwhile in my opinion. It is first possible to group items and define an amount that you want to win.
Lets say you found four Dell notebooks on eBay and want to win one. You would group all four together, ad a maximum bid for each item and wait until the auctions end. If you win the first item Bid-O-Matic would stop bidding on the other three. If you do not win it would try to win one of the remaining.
One of the most important features of a sniper tool is of course time synchronization. You want to make sure that Bid-O-Matic uses the same time as the eBay server to be able to react in seconds. Bid-O-Matic offers a way to sync the time which you can find in the options.
Several users may use Bid-O-Matic with different eBay accounts which is good if more than one eBay account exist. One word of advice. You probably have to change the language to English. This can be done by clicking on “Sprache” in the main menu and selecting English from the list.
