Yah, as of now the PS2 can still tide me over for a year or so.

The sell price of the unit.

Like at about $1000, one can start thinking about purchase a good gaming PC, no monitor with that sort of money

Like if some one game me $1000, and I had a choice between PS3 and GAMING PC, I would choose the gaming PC.

I disagree with your statement about games being great for PC. It seems like there is a much better variety and plentiful supply of games for the console. Computer games tend to focus around first person games.

You could always sell your ps2 to help pay for the ps3. since the ps3 is backwards compatible with psx and ps2 games you wont lose your games.

the reason im not to thrilled about the ps3 is because...

i dont like blue ray i like the idea of having a hsit load of space but then again i dont think its going to be huge liek they think i belive hd dvd will win out of the two

sony has lost alot of their exclusive third party exclusives., and i think alot of the games wil be ported to the 360 which i have so theres no need for me to buy it.

also just on a side note i heard a rumor of MGS4 coming out for the 360???
can anyone varify this?

Yah, although I don't know any specifics... I did hear about that rumor. It also doesn't seem like one of those pointless ones, but I still doubt it will happen (but I can hope).

I hope this is true because MGS is the only Playstation3 exclusive that I would care to buy.

First of all its the prize. I mean it might not be expansive for us, but for many people 600 for a console is totally stupid and consider you will have to get a game afterward and tax etc u will wand up 700. And the graphic on this console is really difference to 360 now. after the pre released show earlier I doubt the soul call blue ray will make up for it. since its ms have vistually no risk at states if their 360 HD fail, but sony on the other hand lol is on red code baby if ps3 cant hold off after launch they be in seriouse trouble as nowaday most income are from ps department.
