Just another thing to think about: How many more times powerful is the gtx 280 or HD 4870 x2 than the gpu in the ps3 or xbox 360?

Btw, how could you have owned 27 gpus in 2.5 years? How could you need to upgrade that often? Cards don't come out that fast, and you could save yourself money by just spending a little extra in the first place rather than spending a little less multiple times. How many computers do you personally own that you need to keep up to snuff? I'm not counting like a wife's or kid's comp, so if that is where you are getting these numbers from, it makes more sense, but it still seems highly uneconomical.

quit critizing the Wii, it can be for hardcore gamers if there wasnt a lot of casual, shovelware games out now. Third parties are not even taking the full advantage of the Wii yet and/or care for just making quick cash from cheap games. Plus, hardcore games are in the making not to mention MadWorld and The Conduit - which will support the Wii Speak and WiiMotionPlus and push the Wii's graphics to the limit and have a solid 30 fps average, rumored to come out Q1-Q2 2009. Nintendo is doing a great job. Geez, i dont want to explain or defend Nintendo again in another long post, here is my defense of Nintendo Wii and the DS:

now for the Cell processor, the question i have is if it was a smart choice for Sony to invest into instead of a tri-core or quad-core whatever? The could of saved themselves more money and lower the prices of the consoles too instead of starting out with a price of $600 60GB PS3 model (best PS3 model, 4 USB ports, Card reader, full BC).

Haha Lets just hope the Wii could handle Ressie evil 5 when it comes out considering they made a Remade version for the wii of Ressie 4, OOPS it wont be coming out for that.
