Shadow of the Colossus Item questions

I'm doing time attack mode where it gives you little accessories as reward for defeating the colossi. Can anybody tell me the difference between the Mask of Strength and the Mask of Power? One will "Inflict deeper wounds upon a colossus" and the other will "Inflict more grievous injuries upon a colossus". I'm only allowed to equip one at a time. Does anybody have any idea what the differences are???

I THINK one is just a more powerful version of the same general effect.
