rss and psp

soo.. i'm a noob and don't know what RSS is.. to my little understanding, it's something you can subscribe to, like a feed.. that's all i know...

for the psp, what does RSS do exactly? .. YouTube has options for RSS feeds... so does that mean you can watch certian YouTube videos that you subscribe to via RSS? the only time iv'e seen RSS used, it was just mp3 files. so is watching video possible? ..

So the way I understand RSS is that if people post on a video/blog/song you can have something that imediatly updates and screams at you "HEY ASSWHOLE YOU HAVE A NEW MESSAGE".....or something to the effect :P
