|  PS3 Hard Drive Upgrade? Will any SATA hard drive work (1.5 or 3.0)? Also has anyone tried a 7200RPM Drive?

| Re: PS3 Hard Drive Upgrade? I have read this article already, It does not tell me if a 1.5 or 3.0 SATA drive is to be used only SATA. Anyone that has done this upgrade what did you use for a hard drive? Thanks

| Re: PS3 Hard Drive Upgrade? yes pretty much any drive will do as long as its a laptop hard drive i would steer away from a 7200rpm drive though because they run hotter then the 5400rpm drive, thats the whole reason sony put a 5400 rpm drive in it also you might want to look though my thread at http://www.codemasters-project.net/v...ead.php?t=8407 you will have to sign up to see it but i'm looking for anyone with any information i haven't got already there so i can put it there and hopefully help more people with it
