Default PS3 as a folding machine

i found this article quite interesting, especially the figures it provides on how much computational power PS3's have added to the Folding At Home project.

PS3 power usage during Folding@Home » HCW Tech Blog

it would be great if we could get a bunch of PS3 owners here folding for team #12864 (Tech-Forums) !!!!

if you're interested in folding on your PS3 check out this page: PS3 FAQ

If I wasn't in the process of buying a house, I would have gotten a PS3 just to fold for the team... lol, I would have had to hide it some where, cause my girl would have likely chucked it off the balcony... BUT, once we move in, the Big screen HDTV that comes WITH the house might need a new console of some kind.....

I actually got the X1950XT for my gaming rig for christmas this year specifically to fold also.... I COULD have gotten the 8800GTS, but it doesn't support folding...
