Truth: Retailer Confirms $100 PS3 Price Cut - Kotaku
Looks like the rumors were true, does anyone think this will help the system out? Personally, I still don't think it's good enough to actually give the ps3 a chance of coming in first this generation.

i also just found out about it so i guess i know what to buy my gf for her birthday PS3+some of her flix on blu-ray
Now all we need is the games **** It.

It won't matter unless they can drop it even to the 360, I don't think.

I still don't think a $500 dollar system is going to appeal to the masses... it's gonna have to drop to 400 or below to get any appeal -- but by the time that happens hte 360 will be even cheaper. So who knows.
