Default PS2 video to USB on a laptop.

I have a laptop that only has a video out, I'm assuming this is fairly standard. The laptop is a Toshiba M15-S405. What I want to do is input a standard RCA style video jack into my Laptop for road trips. The video source is a PS2. My question is as follows. Is there a divice that changes a standard video out to USB and will allow me to get a full screen picture?

I thought I hit a gold mine when I bought the Dazzle video converter but it is designed to copy video files and not just play them so it could not go full screen.

i have the same question about hooking up the ps2, I posted previously about using an s-video output and changing it to input. I neither know how to do that, or how to use USB. Could anyone give any feedback or opinions on how this would work, or if getting a video card would make it work? thanks

The only thing that you can do is use a USB video capture device.

I agree with holocron, there are usb devices that turn a usb port into standard RCA jacks.

Video capture devices are designed to just capture video. What you want is a usb TV tuner device. The internal cards are usually better but I have seen and tried playing ps2 on an older ATI usb tv tuner. Here is a link for the kind of thing I think you are going to need to make this work:
