PS2 Slide Card Question

OK you know when you download most games they come in 2 CD's How would that work with the PS2 Slide Card?

usually, the rips would include an nfo that says exactly where you play upto with cd1, then you save, then reboot and boot cd2 like cd1, load, and continue...
maybe even do a hotswap, but chips for that. (hotswap = swap while game running)
