Is playing online with a PS2 free? My friend says he's played online a little over a year and he says he hasn't got a bill yet. So I'm wondering if you have to pay anything.

yep they dont charge you anything unless you buy like additions to your game like new maps or other stuff which usually requires you to have a hard drive

PLus there are some games that are not free
like Final Fantasy you have to pay for that game

but every other game is free expect like whats his name said if u download extra maps and stuff

nah, ps2 online has alot of gameshark users, its pretty gay that you can use it online, on xbox there is less cheater, except in halo2.

Yeah, that gameshark stuff really does bite. It ruined a few online games for me actually, but the main games like socom and whatnot work pretty well.

ps2 online IS RUBBISH its laggy servers are never full and not many games have it go pc if your going online
