| Super Techie | I don't have a TV of my own, and the household TV is always in use. I also don't have a place to put a TV of my own if I were to get one, though I do have a good gaming PC. I need some kind of tuner solution that will allow me to play PS2 games in good quality (preferably in HD) using my computer monitor as a display. The monitor has both analog and DVI-D input, in case there's a direct way to do it, though I can't find one. I have no space PCI slots, so any kind of TV tuner equipment would need to be USB2.0 or IEEE1394b interfaced. I also need to know where to get a cable to connect it to my PS2, since I have only a component cable, and so far can't find any USB video capture cards that support that. Anyone know where I can start? |

| You could start with this, but then you would need an optical cable going to your PC for the sound. Amazon.com: HD15 (VGA) Male to RCA x 3 Female, Double-Shielded, (HD15 to Component Video) Adaptor, 1 ft -- Not For Computer Use: Electronics And unfortunately PS2 doesn't support HDMI |
