| I've been playing the new GTA game ever since it was released April 29 but now it wont load at all. The game does load up but when it goes to load the mission it just keeps saying loading and it never does load. I've heard reports of technical issues with the game such as freezing which I have experienced but what am I suppose to do now since the game wont load at all any IDEAS? Should I reformat the PS3? |

| Don't reformat the ps3. GTA4 is freezing like that for everyone who has the 20gig and 60 gig models. A patch will likely be out soon. Until then, you can just delete all your GTA4 saves and utility data and reinstall it. Just don't put to much time into the story again because it will likely freeze again. |

| wait before deleting anything i've heard reports of it freezing on the 360 and ps3 due to cache issues with the game the only thing i can think of is go into the game data utility and delete all gta4 data out of that then see how the game runs i'm not sure if this will work but try it to see what happens and DONT delete you saves, unless you put them on a memory stick or sd card first

| I was having the same problem and I just signed out of PSN. It worked for me and I have been reading on other forums that this has worked for others as well. Hopefully it is a problem that is fixed soon.
