Is it only about 25% better visually than the Gamecube? Is the only thing really differen the Wii controller and MAYBE widescreen support?

Anybody know if ALL the Wii games are supposed to have support for 16x9? If Nintendo chose not to do HD, I hope that they at least required all games to support widescreen.

I want to buy one sometime early next year, I had a Xbox 360 but I returned it. I just didn't like it I don't know why, I guess PC gaming was what I really wanted. Once the Wii has a price drop I plan to get his though... Looks like tons of fun.

back on track I pre-ordered mine but was told Id get the 2nd batch but definitely this month. Sad thing is my games have been posted ...so now i`ll have them to torment me till I get it.

they haven't arrived yet just know they have been posted apparently the website i ordered from had email difficulties so i was never informed about not getting a release date pre-order. Its out this Friday here in the UK but I wont get mine till about the 20th of December.
