I liked the cell shaded look - it's nice to have graphical variety in a series like this. It may look childish - but then so did all the previous Zelda games, including the N64 ones (The characters in the N64 ones looked very camp too). The upcoming game looks gorgeous.
What I don't like though is the contrived "time lines" Nintendo has tried to explain for the Zelda series. What's the point?

Ocarina of Time was quite an easy game compared to the previous Zeldas. Probably because it was it's first 3D incarnation and would be easier to get lost if the dungeons were too complex - for people new to 3D that is.

Zelda 3 is my favourite by far.

Hi.
I lealy think that the new zelda game will be great.
But nothing will be greater than the Zelda, Links awekening
to Gameboy. It was my first Zelda game and made me a Hradcore
Zelda fan!!!!

It looks cool, but I don't have $100 for a GC and then $50 for the game. I bought one for the GBA not long ago. Ocrarina of seasons or something like that. Kinda fun, and it brought me back to the days of the original Zelda, which I got close to beating but I could never find that darned Level 7 Entrance!

This game looks awesome! It's about time nintendo delivered the Zelda we all expected, and that the GameCube DESERVES! When I saw Cel-da I cringed, and I'm a die-hard nintendo maniac. Finally, a REAL Zelda game for GC, and yes, I did try out WindWaker just because, and I didn't like it, the controls felt stiff and sluggish compared to Z64, the story was crap, and the Link in WW looked like a little ***. The new Link looks like a total badass, and I'm floored by the graphics, (eat your heart out xbox!) if the trailer is any indication, I'm sure this game will get at least a "T for teen" rating, because it looks dark as ****, and this Link looks like he's in no mood for anybody's crap, the combat looks totally friggin' sweet! I can't wait to get my hands on it!
