Good racing game

I am dying to add a good racing game to my colection. I heard Auto Modellista is terrible but looks nice. What does anyone recommend? I like both sim and arcade racers.

For GC, Mario Kart Double Dash is a REALLY fun game. F-zero GX is ok too.

Double Dash is a really fun game, not really a serious racer. NFSU is really only good on the PC. I would recommend extreme G or f-zero depending if u like to have weapons or not.

i remember a game for N64, it was called MRC: Multi Racing Championship, it was cool!
