| Newb Techie | my dad accidentally spilled a lot of water on top of my gamecube, and it would not turn on when i got home a few hours later. right now i have it with a hair dryer blowing into it and i don't know what else to do. i've had my phone recover from being dropped in a pond for almost 20 minutes, so i'm hoping it can be fixed, but any help would be appreciated. |

| Monster Techie | If the water was spilled anywhere NEAR the PSU don't even think about plugging it back into the wall. Don't blowdry it either. Just wait a thousand years and it will come back. ![]()

| Just to let you know, ANYTIME you get water on electronics do NOT turn it on to test it. Immediatley unplug it, remove whatever you can and let it air dry. You turn it on, you energize it, it blows. Let it dry, then turn it on. Even thats not fool proof but there is a better chance of salvation doing it that way ![]()
