Default XBOX vs PC

I have a old PC upstairs, it has better specs that the xbox:
XBOX
CPU 733 MHz Intel Custom Pentium III
RAM Micron 64 MB DDR SDRAM
Storage Medium 8 GB Hard Disk
Graphics Processor Unit 250 MHz Custom-Designed NV2X

PC
CPU 1.0GHZ
RAM 64MB
10GB HD
64MB GRAPHICS CARD
this pc is pritty old but it has better specs than the xbox,
how come xbox can play games like halo 2 and my pc cant even run games like Jedi knight 2 a really old game???

BTW im getting a xbox soon and could you advise me on some games and accesories i should get thxs.

well xbox is cheaper then a "good computer" but as far as a 360 a made computer is alot better then any type of console. dont get me wrong im not saying i dont game on my 360 but computers have much better graphics as well as they have had high def games since the 80s or so... as for the games in the console they are designed for the console a good game for 360 is call to duty 2 and dead or alive 4
