xbox to pc data transfer problems

i recently had an evolution x dash and mod chip installed and have been trying to transfer game data from my xbox to pc to make backup copies. ive followed every step up to where u put a game into the xbox and then locate it in d drive unfortunatly when i look in the drive i cant locate the game data. ive tried refreshing the connection but still cant find it.

Are you looking for it on your computer, via FTP? Try turning the xbox off then on again withpout removing the disc. Check your settings in evo to ensure they allow acsess to D. If you are still having problems, go to Xbox Scene and ask them.

Just to warn you though, I am not sure your backup copies will work.

What FTP Program are you using? I know that in Flash FXP if you open the D drive directory when there is nothing in it, then go back to it later when there is a disc in it the directory listing will be cached, so you have to go to one of the drop down menus and hit Flush Directory Cache, or something like that.
