Default xbox mod chips

i am interested in installing a mod chip into my machine but am confused what with all the different ones available and everything. please, someone who is knowledgable in this department contact me if you info on how to get started. thank you.

well if you dont know how to solder you can pickup a chameleon f/like $40 or i would recommend just getting the popular xecuter chip (9 wires to solder + ground) theres also an exploit with a modded 007 saved game where you can run a small version of linux on the xbox w/out a modchip.

ok so i heard somewhere that you can upload games into your box and play them anytime.... i thought i heard mention of having to install a new hard drive. is this true, and if so, how do i do it?

yes you can install a larger hd to "backup" all your games. if you read through the 1st link i gave out you would have found this.

i recommend - the xecuter 2 chip, i've had it for 2 years now and not a problem and it supports every game! go with the 80 gb harddrive, because a source tells me that 120gb are unstable when used in xboxs? if not true plz msg me!

once you have the chip and hdd in your xbox you will fit around 40 games, but it is easy to delete games ur sick off and put new games on!

First, find out what verson xbox you have
Second, if you don't know how to solder, you should install the Team Xodus S.P ICE, it is suppost to be very easy and there are many tutorials, i'll give you one once i find a good one for first timers!
