| I have Verizon Fios, and I just got Xbox live. Sadly, there are problems that annoy me. I just bought a 100 dollar wireless adapter from gamestop, and then connected to live. It was all fine and dandy, worked for like 5 to 6 hours. I fell asleep, and then turned it on again. Viola! The live wont connect. To be exact, ALL the wireless devices in the house will not connect to the stupid router. Fios uses actiontech's router. I know that you can connect the Xbox to the router with two steps: If you have the router than you hook it up like any Xbox through a router setup. You can either - 1) Hardwire the xbox to the oruter and let the Xbox get the DHCP information from the router or 2) Install a wireless gaming adapter on the xbox and let that get the DHCP from the router. I am doing number two. However, it is set to automatic detect, and the xbox DOES detect the wireless network. But after I put in the WEP password, it does not find the IP address. I understand that the Fios router uses a dynamic IP, so that I cannot hardwire the address into the xbox. What do I do!
