is it possible to upgrade the hard drive on the xbox to like a 100 gb drive?

yeah, it's possible, and very easy to do.

All you do is replace your current HD with the new one, then format the new hard drive, with whichever dashboard you wish to use (personally I use Evox)

Well, when you turn on your xbox without a game, you have the nice little MS menu where you can change the settings, and so on..Evox is similar to that but it gives you many more options. You can launch games from your HD, play movies/MP3s from your HD, change the skin, and of course play backups.

**** yes you can put a bigger drive in! and now the sky's the limit, or in other words, they broke the 48 bit barrier! Just put a 200 gig in my little'o'le boxxy!

you know that the xbox's "mobo" and the HDD are both ultra ata enabled, but they used cheap ata cables? that means that you can replace the standard cable with an ultra ata cable and get a faster transfer rate!

its a cheap upgrade that will really help ur performance
