| Hey xbox fans - My xbox is having trouble reading/loading discs. I called xbox support and they said it would cost $100 for me to send it to them and have them look for it. So.... Are there any alternative ways to fix this? Are there local (to Seattle) dealers or electronics stores who would be able to take a look and fix it? Any shared experiences and advice would be greatly appreciated... Thanks! |

| Thanks for the link, Placebo. I will try it out tonite. The problem is that the disc spins and spins, then an error message comes up saying that the xbox cannot read from the disc. I haven't tried a disc-cleaner yet, but will look for one on my next trip to Bestbuy. I also did not find any local repair shops in the phone book or online, but there's no chance I would send it back to microsoft. Thanks for all the helpful advice... |

Take it Out than Hoooaaaa on the DvD/CD than clear it up with a TeeeShoooe than put it back in the Xbox than it might work!!! It works for mine , or if the game you Butt is New like lets say u have the game for 12 days, and you have the Respet , that says return it for Refun,or a same copy , than go give it to the store and get a new one ... and play with that one!! if your having trouble with you Xbox Live than Call your DSL/Modem/Cable Company and they can help u, or Just get a "SBC Yahoo DSL" that **** works 24/7 the best for Xbox its fast for Xbox and for a Alineware PC |
