| I am looking at getting a 32" widescreen HDTV, and am wondering if it is worth it to get the HD connector pack for the original XBOX. I know it can only play DVD video at 480i, but what about games? Do games look good on a widescreen HDTV with the original Xbox?

| Future ex-member | well how much is the HD connector kit. you would have to see if the games support it. also if the x box does. you should be able to find out if it can be enabled on the website or in the manual.

| Xbox games on the Xbox are not HD. However if you play games like Halo 2 on the 360 through a HDTV, then the textures are HD (there wont be more polygons or anything). You will probably find, with most games on the original xbox, that if you play them on a widescreen tv, the picture will just be stretched which doesnt always look good.
