Do you all like X-Box Live ? I am thinking about getting it. It is supposed to be "Lag-Free" correct ? And if I do get it, I would have to get a router so that I could get internet to my computer and to my X-Box, correct ?

A router would allow you to have the XBox and computer on the internet at the same time. You can use Internet Connection Sharing but you would need the computer to be on for the XBox to gain net access.

With the 2 free months thing that I got along with X-Box, will it really allow 2 free months ? Will I have to sign up after that ? Or is it risk free 2 months ?

You have to enter a credit card, and if you don't cancel before the 2 months is up they will charge for a year's subscription. They will email you a couple weeks prior to your 2 months running out.

when you buy the starter kit with the headset and game for 70 bucks does that count as your year subscription or do you have to pay added onto that?

It'll come with a little card that has an activation number on it, same as the 2 month free cards that come with almost every Xbox live enabled game. It'll say how long the subscription is on the card. But I'm pretty sure you still need to enter a credit card number when you register your account for activation purposes. Plus, so they can charge you once your allotted time from the card runs out.

Bahaha, I don't like that idea..it should just be 100% rish free sign-up, then they just cut you off after 2 months. Makes it so much easier.
