You guys who don't know or aren't sure about the emulation capabilities of the XBOX should listen carefully. Yes, a modded xbox can emulate gaming consoles such as NES SNES PSX N64 C64 and many more. If you think otherwise then you are grossly missinformed, sorry but my (softmodded) xbox can play roms from all these systems and more. You don't have to take my word for it, do a little surfing on the net and verify for yourself. thanks.

yes, you can. Use a PC PS2 emulator and run linux and install it (modded xbox) or just make a bootrom. However, this is typically for the more advanced person to do. Long story short. You need a modded XBox, with linux (since its open source) or a bootrom, and the PC version of the PS2 emulator. Now, how well the roms work is a whole other story....

Actully i stumbled apon a program that said it would allow you to get a ps2 game to play on an Xbox and a Xbox game to work on a ps2 while i was searching for a site to download free movies they wanted about $20 for it. There is no way in **** i would pay for that unless i knew someone who had it and it worked. for $20 that just sounds like B.S.

sorry guys alot of posts didnt read them all but......im amazed not everyone has heard of it yet but *sighs* there has been an xbox based emulator for psone for quite some time. it is a ported version of pcsx it is called pcsxbox. check irc for it. i severely doubt that there will ever be an effective ps2 emulator, it might be possible with a dreamX but i still doubt it. there have been rumours of some small success with some VERY crap ps2 games.
p.s. nobody even bother arguing with Minataur he is right.
the names of the emulators i can remember:
snes: xsnes9x
64: surreal 64
psx: pcsxbox
