Arrow What were your favorite XBOX games...

I need some advice from some of you professional game-heads. My son Dane turns six today! He thinks of nothing else but playing XBOX (should this raise any red flags?) He is only happier when he convinces someone to play `two player' w/ him. HALO and H2 are getting well worn. Loves Mechassault and OddWorld. Here's my question. With these types of games in mind, and his young age, can anyone suggest others that I can look for? All he wants for his birthday is "MORE XBOX GAMES!" I have limited time to run around to stores and interrogate these poor harassed employees. I do not wish to be "sold" some games to meet someone's quota or thin out thier overstock of games that suck. Thankyou for your time...

Unhappy Waitaminnit?!?! Your Son is Six and playing Halo!?!

Wow, I wish you were my mother at that age. I could have been watching all the 'Nightmares on Elm Street' and 'Friday the 13ths' without outrage spreading across England.

Nah, Joking aside, I could name a few games which may appeal to your son:-

# Grabbed by the Ghoulies - a game aimed at kids AND adults, There are a few innuendos and rude jokes, but at the core of it is a very simplistic but entertaining (also quite hard) game. He'll love it!

# Sonic Heroes - Not really my cup of tea as Ive grown out of the blue hedgehog but Sonic has mass market appeal, and he'll definetely be a character your son has heard of. Besides, the game is bright bold and fast as Sonic!

# Project Gotham Racing 2 - I don't know if your son is into cars, but if he owns any Corgi cars, then he'll love it!

# Soul Caliber 2 - Not that I condone fighting, but this game is the best at what it does, and thats FIGHTING! Great graphics, and can be played by beginners (button bashers) and veterans. Superb!

# Spiderman 2 - Very much like the GTA series in that you choose when to participate in missions. very much unlike it how you can't inflict damage on the innocents. My little nephew is absolutely crazy it, and he's around the same age.

Well, there you go. Five excellent games, all with depth, but not overly complicated either. Any child should love these games with a passion. I hope this can help you.

And remember.......................................... .

Its good to play together!
