Recording?

If i have a video camera and hook it up to my tv while playing the xbox and i record myself. Then if i hook up the video camera to my labtop and then get the recorded data from the camera can i view the footage on my Labtop.

This is what i wanted to do make a funny video

So you make a recording of yourself playing xBox and then want to play it back? Why wouldn't it work? Or are you talking about playing it back on your laptop?

If playing back on your laptop, it will depend on it and the software you have.
