rainbox 6 on 360 not working

ok so i put in rainbow six 3 black arrow into my 360 and click on update thru xbox live and yes i know my xbox live works. it connects but then it logs me off when the game is put in and then i cant download the update so i was like f this. i tried the second method... burning a cd popped the cd in and it said update completed. put the game in and now its loading at least but freezing every where it wont even get to the main menu just freezing at random points before the main menu where they show you all the logos and the small movie before the game. SCREW YOU MICROSOFT. help me what do i need to do to get this to work.
