| During our last move I lost any or all XBOX instuctions ect.. I usually can figure out "settings" and such without too much brain work. However, today when my son was attempting to load a game he plays all of the time, a parental code message blocked him out. No one will "fess up" to screwing around with the controls and locking them up with a code. I tried to make a new code and disable the lock. It continues to ask for the code that somehow got programmed the first time, I think. Obviously I am not any sort of computer genious, just a mom with little kids who have been able to figure out A LOT on their own. The 5 year old already beat Halo 2... Whoever decides to answer this for me I am truly grateful!! |

| Ok, heres a soultion right out of The Insiders Xbox Handbook Sorry, it dosnt work on European xbox's or Japanese Xbox's. It only works on amarican ones. In the dashboard go into "settings" and then into "Parental Control" When prompted for a password hit X, Y, Left Trigger, X in that order. Your password should be reset. |

| MrsMastrchief, thats pretty funny. I could see myself doing that when i was younger. Im not sure if M2k4 is currect. Then again i never used those options before. Personally, i think you should just call xbox themselves. That would be a forsure answer.
