Default Oblivion Fun Help

Can some people tell me some fun things to do or skills to train and how to do them.

I am new to Oblivion on the 360 and so far played about 5 hours with my new Drak Elf charachter.

My main skills i specialise in are security, acrobatics, stealth and i cant remember anymore.

Im level 56 in acrobatics because its fun jumping up buildings and stuff.
But i want other fun stuff to do. Like how to make good money, how to get weapons that kill in one hit (preferablly bow and arrow) and how to find or make spells that'll make people go flying over a table ect ect as ive seen this kind of things on videos.

Were can i get good armor and weapons ?, what skills should i train up ? what are some funny things to do (i.e. shooting people through head with bow and arrow ect ect and kill them)

what quests to do ...

Basicly i just wants someone to give me a few tips on how to play the game and have lots of fun.

Thanks for any help.

I wish I could forget everything about oblivion so I can play it again. lol.. I have almost 300 Hrs.

Start off with the Dark brotherhood questline, lots of people say its the best questline in the game. That way you can get your sneak skill up, which helps out alot when you travel to Oblivion. Plus you get a lot of useful equipment.

Also the Arena is fun to do "Gladiator style" fighting, but having decent equiptment would be a big plus. When you complete the Arena fights you will meet a guy called "the adoring fan" It is a fun pass-time among oblivion players to find new and inventive ways to get him killed. (he eventually comes back) I'm sure if you searched Adoring fan in youtube you would get piles of videos.

As for finding equipment, thats the problem, equipment and enemies are leveled with you. Which sucks, but what this means is as you level up they will to, to keep the game fair I suppose. Its kind of sad, because you don't get any "Oh **** run!!" moments. I used to play TES3 Morrowind and there was more than one time where I bumped into a tough enemy and had to leg it.

As for making money, carry as much stuff out of caves as you can. But if you do the dark brotherhood and thevies guild quests the only thing you will need money for is houses and furniture, because you will beable to break into shops and steal it.

For fun, I ususally try to pick off the "black horse courier" riders (people who ride on the trails delivering newspapers from the imperial city to other towns, evenditally they fly along on black horses with torches.) and trying not to get caught and get a bounty.

Killing the adoring fan never gets old....

Oh and to get people to fly through the air with spells you need one called "finger of the mountain". It's funny...

Is there anyway to attack and kill someone without it saying 'Your murder has been noted by unknown forces...' and then as soon as u go near a guard they arrest you.

Its very annoying i just want to do some one hit one kill bow kills in sneak mode (x 3 damage) without being arested because im to poor to pay it.

You can Increase your Marksman skill by shooting targets.. there are some behind the fighters gulid in Chorrol.. or going to..

If you are a Low Level
Edla Dark-Heart: Bruma (Regner's house on south side)
Shameer: Skingrad (house West of Great Chapel of Julianos)

If you are a Medium Level
Reman Broder: Skingrad (house in South West corner)
Pinarus Inventius: Anvil (not sure where, I think hes walkin around)

Master Trainer
Alawen: Troll Candle Camp (East of Anvil) or he's out hunting

Make sure you have gold, Unfortunitly you can only train a skill 5 times each level.

Yes you can get away with it Kman... It's just hard... Thats what I try to do with the Black hourse courier people lol.. not only are they hard to get with 1 shot 1 kill, but trying to get away with it.

Also if your in the theaves gulid one of the other members can get rid of your bounty.

To join the dark brotherhood, Kill somebody, then go to a hotel or what ever and go to sleep, Lucien will then come to you and ask you to join.

Here's a tip you can try KMAN, When you join the dark brotherhood and your asked to kill the first guy in a hotel as your "initiation test", (He's asleep in a Inn) lol you can walk over to the corner of the room go in sneek mode, then put something on your xbox controller so that your character is walking into the corner of the wall and stays there walking on the spot, Rufus or what ever his name is, won't wake up, and im pretty sure your sneak skill should go up. You can then just leave the game and come back in an hour and check up on your sneak skill lol.

And yes Sydzy you can get finger of the mountain spell from the book in the mage's gulid questline. But it costs a retarted amount of mana to cast.

Thanks, ive joined the guild now. And ive figured out how to kill people without them noticeing.

Ive got Full Dwarven armour except the Cuirass !, i cant find it anywere. Ive gone to all the cities and none of them have it.

So can i train my marksman at the Imperial City fighting arena were that guys continuously shooting arrow (In which i stole them ) ??

I got my sneaking up quickly by moving around by a horse. .

Is there any other ways to earn quite *good* money without doing quests, as ive never been a fan of the campaign or quests on ANY game, except call of duty for some reason.

How do i get one of my other members to get rid of my bounty... ??

WOW ! This games soooo excitingly fun

Armond Christoph gets rid of your bounty for you.. I do believe.
You'll eventually come arcoss a vampire or bandit wearing one, I don't even bother to pick them up anymore.

Ya fire away at the target and marksman should eventually go up, you might be a while, best to get people to train you.

Do the gulid line quests, Darkbrotherhood, Fighters gulid, theves, mages, and you will have no issues with money after that.

Were do i join the theifs guild ?

Ah anotehr thing i want to know is, were can i get a good supply of Lockpicks as ive only got 5 left .

Once ive got the lockpicks and i try and unlock a door or something do i have to actually press a to get my skill up or can i just keep pressing up and tumble the pins so i dont risk breaking it ??

Will i loose arrows eventually by shooting at targets ?, also will my marksman increase quicker by using better arrows ?

Ask around town about a theives gulid, then go to the Imperial city docks during the night time, (at 12:00am) you should see a group of people standing around behind a house with torches.

Again you can buy lockpicks from Armond, I have one called the skeleton key, It dosen't break, lol.

I think you have to sucessfully pick the lock to get skill points. not really sure, when you get use to it picking locks becomes very easy.

You should beable to shoot the target as much as you want then retrive your arrows from it, I haven't had any of mine dissappear, where as when you shoot animals and people there is a chance you wont get your arrow back. I dont think it would increase any quicker if you bought better arrows.
