| I just got my XBox today. Confused on all this mod talk. But I do have one concern before I mod my XBox. I want to be able to still use XBox Live. My question is... I got 4 new games to go with it. I want to make copies of them incase I damage or lose one at a XBox party with a group of my friends. Is there anyway to make copies of XBox games without modifying XBox to the point you won't be able to use XBox Live...Thank you Newbie PS- Trading my PS2 for XBox was the best decision I ever made. |

| Newb Techie | in order to play a burned game you have to use a mod chip. they do a whole lot more than that though, and are well worth the time and money. The executer3 has an off switch so that you can disable it and then you can play online... also Greg said in a previous forum and I quote... "Use XLink Kai. (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk) Use modded Xboxes as much as you want. You can get banned from individual games (it doesn't happen very often), but not all of them. Best part is, it's free." |

| You do not need a mod-chip to play burned games, the best, simpilest and cheapest option would be to softmod E-mail me at da_deadman@hotmail.com for a guide and Questions

| keep in mind, to play via live you will need the original game and not a burned copy, regardless if on dvd or HDD, because you will have to turn off the mod. essentially, think of it as having 2 seperate bios. one is the original and the other is the mod.
