if 2 ppl want to play off one console on Xbox live is this possible?

Do we both need separate subscriptions to gold membership if this is possible?

Yes you can play two player Live on one XBox

It's actually game dependent. Most games you just need 1 Live account and then you can sign the other player in as a guest. Some games do require 2 Live accounts however.

Yep all three of those support guest Live accounts .
