Is it true that you can copy games to the hard drive of your xbox

yes, it's true, but it's more complicated than that. you're not actually supposed to be able to do that. you need to mod ur xbox, which requires a little bit of time and money. but after you mod ur box, you can do all kinds of things. you can replace the hardrive with a bigger one, copy all ur games to the hard drive, play dvds without buying that doohickey, play media files, and if u know how u can hack ur games. if u want to know more about modding ask, and if i don't give u more information someone probably will.

Nah I dont hve an Xbox still wondering whether to buy Xbox or PS2 or even 3 or..... but I just heard that and I thought that would be cool.

Is the hard drive fast enought to run games at a satifactroy level or would you put in a new hd

IMO, the harddrive is substantial enough to satisfy my playing needs/wants.

Generally speaking, I think that the biggest hold up with any game consol is the load time for the game and for levels. Play is good.

Yea i know its old but have you played Smackdown on ps1 load time was about 30 seconds for the walk in bit and then 30 more seconds for the playing and in season mode welll.....your f*ed

one thing that will really boost the performance of your xbox is to replace the cable to the hard drive with a new one, they are ultra ata enabled, but use crappy, old cables that limit the speed
