Default MTV's XBOX 360 Preview

I just watched the MTV preview of XBOX 360

Some comments:

1) The new XBOX 360 design isn't appealing at all.
2) Focus more on the XBOX machine than on "The Killers".
3) Commercials seemed incessantly long.
4) No one cares about the 4v4 deathmatch.
5) Good job with telling us the specifications of the new machine.
6) More air time needed for the actual view of the XBOX. They showed a brief glimpse.
7) No one cares about the "professional gamers" as much as we do about the XBOX 360 machine.

XBOX 360 has a lot of good components to it but were never mentioned in the preview. Yes, not everyone understands the "techie-lingo", but it would've been nice if they had told the viewers some new features and adjustments. I think Microsoft chose the wrong path to promote their new product... only if they had carefully planned their promo.

We'll see how the XBOX 360 does in a few months.
Post your opinions.

It's MTV.....I think you're looking WAY too much into the first simple glimpse

Right, but if you're going to showcase your new console, you'd want to actual showcase it. It's one thing to show limited views on the console... I don't think a one second glimpse is sufficient for this muchly anticipated product. And yes, I do understand it's MTV.

you gotta realize the IQ of someone who watches MTV is about that of a rock...it has to be quick flashy and practically smack em in the face just to get noticed.

I cannot agree with you even more, for that I understand. At least they should have gone over the features list, like "DVDRW/CDRW etc"

That stuff people understand.

I agree fully with Nubius. I could not stand that show because they barely showed anything 360. It was all "The Killers" and commercials up the ying-yang. The 360 does look quite nice though.
