Default KOTOR 2 problem

Well, the problem may be I have a modded xbox, but it may just be a loop. I have copied it from a disk from work (gamestore) and right in the begining when you get shot by a laser as the driod I get a black screen and can't do anything. My friends at work have had the same thing happened to them and are unable to proceed through the game.

I'm either curious if this has happened to anyone else, or maybe we just copied from the same disk and are just having a skip in the cd or something.

Any Idea's>?

it must just be the disk you copied from because i have not had that problem and i've been past the part you said it happened at. so i'd say it is just the disk.

ALright then, I'm just going to uninstall and copy a different disk at work
