An Angry Chair is on a distinguished road

Exclamation I need help capturing video!

I have a capture card and i have the audio set up fine, but not the video. My tv does not have a video output on it so i figured a y adapter from the xbox feed would work. When i set it up, the quality on my xbox became horrible and would not even register on my computer through the capture card.

I am playing in high quality and i think it might be because the y adapter was not high quality, but i don't know. ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm afraid you can't use a splitter to split the signal coming from an Xbox without severely damaging the picture quality. What you need to do is run the video and audio to the capture device and then from the capture device to the TV (assuming you got a relatively good capture card/box). Otherwise you will need to upgrade the TV if your capture device only supports input and no output.
