| difference is mainly in gouging you... concept applies to the theory, before mass lcd adoption, that if you had the money you'd overpay for everything. Similar can be seen in tv mounts, where it should only be $20-50...they set the price at $300 for a tv mount. this day and age the high priced stuff is going away, but slowly you should be able to buy an hdmi cable for 10-20 and see no discernible difference

| I just bought a 57 inch DLP, XBOX 360 Pro (sku with hdmi out), Blue ray player.. Comcast also gave me HD Cable box, so I needed 3 HDMI Cables. I bought them from some website, six bucks each. One of the cords puts a slightly scratchy picture up no matter which device I use it with.. the vendor I used is happily replacing it. Anyways, the cheap ones are just as good as the $70 according to many tech review sites. |

| No need to waste your money for nothing, if there was a noticeable difference I would say get the more expensive one however they all operate the same best bet is to get one of the cheaper ones you can find. Made the mistake of paying 90 for one of mine then found one for 15 works just as good if not better than the 90 one.
