about the first 45 minutes I played, I wasn't all that impressed. But once you tune in to the new controls and get a hang of how stuff works it gets a lot more intense. The missions are by far a lot more fluid then in the previous GTA's.

I got used to the controls and I still feel that they were layed out very clumbsy and they still don't feel natural no matter how much I play. And I disagree with the missions, I'm about 50% into the game now and so far they seem to be run of the mill and very simple, I think GTA3 actually had more variety -- well at least I had more fun with GTA3's missions.

Seriously, it doesn't take many missions before you realize its just car chases and killing a particular person almost every mission.

my only gripe is in car shooting, the auto aim is horrible, and you have to shoot to aim, so as your trying to manual aim your wasting bullets.

I agree too. I could write a paper on my list of gripes with this game.

Yeah, I am only about 8% in to the game right now (haven't had much time to play it yet), and I do enjoy the driving affects, especially when driving drunk! My only gripe is that I haven't killed that annoying Vlad yet! When do I finally get my awesome crib, clothes, cars, etc?

Was there a way to spare dwane instead of killing him? My friend was with my and took the controller and unloaded everything into him. just curious if I had an option.
