FTP an XBOX

Can u play games this way? or do u need a mod chip? cause i heard u can ftp ur xbox and load games to it without a mod chip but i didnt beleive it. Am i wrong or is the kid who told me this? and if u can play games by ftping ur xbox. How do u ftp your xbox i have everything hooked up to the same westell versalink router.

You can ftp without a modchip via softmod/tsop flash. As for the games you mean ftping them over you might as well use dvd2xbox and copy them to your hdd cause that's just alot easier. You cannot FTP on a box with the original bios though and you cannot access the game saved on your hdd with the microsoft dash.

If your box is not modded then no.

well no because of two things a) your hdd will only be big enough for maybe one game b) you cannot use dvd2xbox without a modded xbox. do a softmod and use slayers auto installer. i can not believe how many people i have heard use the retarded ftp method of ripping games. the only possible reason for that is either somebody stole ur xbox dvd drive or it is dieing
